There are so many reasons why we love op shopping, be it to save money and style for less, give back to our communities, shop ethically, feed the need for vintage, or just simply for the thrill of the hunt. So, whether you’re a seasonal op shopper or just curious, we have plenty of stores here in the Hawkesbury for you to enjoy!

If it’s a new outfit you’re after, some second-hand furniture, beautiful glassware, a trinket or just a browse, we really have you covered.  You may discover that mid-century modern treasure, a pretty piece that makes you immediately nostalgic, or even an unusual item that you had from your childhood that is now highly collectable!

Northo Op Shop - They describe themselves as “The cheapest little op shop in the Hawkesbury.” Clothing, bric-a-brac and more. 7/41 Bells Line of Road, North Richmond. Ph: 02 4571 1444 Open Mon-Fri 9.30am – 4pm, Sat 9.30am – 2pm.

Richmond Legacy Op Shop- Visit the lovely Legacy ladies for clothing, accessories, jewellery, bric-a-brac, sporting goods, books, DVD’s, CD’s. Keep an eye out for their garage sales (they’re always posted on their Facebook page).

Just Collectables At The Barn - It's your one-stop shop for everything automotive and racing collectables (but isn't limited to this) any collectors dream. 18 East Market St Richmond.  Open Fri - Sat 10am - 4pm.

Nina’s Preloved Goods - Second-hand store. Great prices. Clothing, accessories, jewellery, CD’s, DVD’s, bric-a-brac, furniture, and a lot more.

Nina’s Pre-loved Books - Second-hand bookstore. We are told there’s over 8000 books at last count.

Raggedy Bits Emporium – Upcycled and new wares. 9b/5 Terrace Rd North Richmond. Open Tues – Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-2pm. Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month 10am-3pm.

Recycle Shed – 1 The Driftway, South Windsor. Provided by the Hawkesbury City Council at Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility. (02) 4560 4444. Open every day 8am-3.45pm.

Rusty Ridge Shed – “For lovers of collectables n junk, old wares and garagenalia”. 305 Blaxlands Ridge Rd, Kurrajong. Check Facebook page for opening times.

The Junk Yard– The place to buy everything from collectibles to kitchen wares, tools, building materials and so much more. Bennett Rd, Londonderry. Open Wed & Fri 10am – 4pm, Sat-Sun 10am – 3pm.

Ziggyz Café and Collectables – A treasure trove of unique and rare finds with a vast collection of vintage items, retro memorabilia, and collectibles and a Café too! 3068 Bells Line of Road, Bilpin. Open 7 days from 8am to 3:30pm weekdays, 4pm on weekends.
