More and more we want to see what we buy, before we buy after experiencing digital retail fatigue in the last few years.

Some are in the box, (mainstream giftwares clothes and alike) and some are outside of the box (unique, local and boutique offerings).

There’s plenty of options out there, we’ve listed some of our favorites in Kurrajong, Windsor and Richmond below. Check store open hours before travelling as all stores all have different trading hours.
KURRAJONG
Kurrajong Village is one of those rare gems, giving the sense that time stands still, village by name and village by nature, the vibe is calm, relaxed and wholesome the perfect place to unwind and slowly browse the unique items on offer while soaking up some country atmosphere. Many of the businesses along the main street are owned and operated by local families.
Carey & Co Designer fashion and unique giftware, housing a huge range of exclusive items. This Village favorite has a new premises only moving a few doors down the street it is packed with fabulous items that are always popular for tourists and locals alike. (pictured, source: Carey and Co).
Fibre Frolic For the creative type, Fibre Frolic is a sweet little store selling a beautiful selection of hand dyed yarns as well as quality commercial yarns, accessories, and gifts.
Saplings Nursery A little treasure at the top of the main street is a garden lovers’ haven Kurrajong nursery has a fabulous selection of locally grown indoor and outdoor plants for sale the friendly staff have a wealth of knowledge for all things plants!
Urban Road Boutique Offering a wide range of Womens & Mens Clothing, Jewellery, Candles, Bags. Homewares, gifts and bespoke items, don’t miss this stop on your journey through Kurrajong Village.
Just down the hill in Kurmond, Kurmond Florist has a huge range of gorgeous giftware specialising in Australian flora and fauna, cute animal art items and stocks local products such as Sanguine Scents.
WINDSOR
Home of the Windsor Mall Markets (every Sunday), there are such a lot of interesting shops in historic Windsor to impress and enthrall the entire family. As you wander around, you’ll find cafes, pubs and restaurants to stop in for a meal, not hungry? Take a stroll through Thompson Square and over Windsor Bridge to enjoy the scenery.
Mumma’s Melts Voted by locals as Sydney’s best wax melts the store sell candles, melts, and gifts. Having relocated from further down George Street to the brand-new store in the Old Post Office Arcade.
Tower Games is our local game store (card games, board games, tabletop games). Pokemon, Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), Warhammer, slotcars, and more. Has a play space, organized play and casual table hire.
The Remakery The brand-new store has a gallery feel. In their new location with a fresh gallery feel, the Remakery sell handmade creations from over 80 local artisans and artists, new and upcycled creations, you’ll find unique gifts handmade arts and crafts and interior design items.
The Soda Pop Shop & Lollies’N’Stuff has Australia’s largest range of candy, lollies, snacks and sweets, both Australian and International and various gifts and toys. From Red Frogs and Allen’s Snakes to Pop Tarts, Sherbet Fountains, Whittakers chocolates and salted liquorice just to name a few, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. Guy Stuff Is filled to the brim with gifts and collectables, unique, something for everyone. NRL, AFL, Soccer, Harley Davidson, Model cars, trucks, trains, bar accessories, military, puzzles, games, novelty and so much more. Open 7 days.
The Watchmaker A variety of unique and hard-to-find items watches, clocks, repairs, collectables, housewares. (Also Watchmaker’s Garage Café).
Ladies fashion stores include Pinq, Cotton Candy Clothing and SMIK. Smik is well known for wide selection of formal dresses. Each have racks out front, always worth a browse, lovely staff in all stores happy to help with fit and selection if needed.
Windsor Handbags/Luggage & Accessories leather goods, wallets, bags, evening bags, good range of luggage + Open Studio (small store next door with 2nd hand furniture and antiques)
By A Farmer’s Daughter Offers a selection of beautiful homewares, giftware, fashion and art. Each has a special story behind them. Perfect for gifts or just for yourself, their pieces are full of meaning and bound to spark joy. Need to do a couple of laps to take it all in. A truly unique shopping experience.
Moonlite Candles Sell candles and a great selection of unique gifts. Beautiful home décor and garden pieces. Lots to look at, stay a while and browse.
Manor On George A beautiful boutique furniture, homewares and giftware shop. Worth a good browse round to make sure you have seen it all.

Excelsior Comics The first and only comic book and merchandise store in the Hawkesbury Region.
Windsor Homestore Huge variety store and one of those places you just know you will find what you are after. Everything but the kitchen sink!
RICHMOND
Hosting Richmond good food markets each Saturday morning Richmond has it’s own retail treasures, and like the other towns plenty of hospitality to find refreshments and refuel along the way.
Boho Lane Collective / ELM Finery and Fragrance Carefully curated collection of hand picked pieces in store. Stocking locally and Australian designed perfumes, jewellery, clothing & accessories
Harmony @ Home A one stop shop for all the things you need to host the perfect dinner party or perhaps the everyday kitchen needs. This shop is always full of choice for crockery, glassware, platters, cookware, napkins, candles and perhaps some jewellery for the host.
The Bank Bazaar An emporium in one of Richmond’s most historic buildings offering antiques, vintage fashion, retro wares, contemporary design. They have a Garden Café perfect to stop and peruse your recent purchases. (pictured, source).
